DETAILS: I call this a "modified" pie safe because most pie safes have a punched tin panel detail in the front door panels, but that was a bit too "country" for this project. Instead, multi-panel doors were designed to give the piece a more updated, yet traditional feel. The shelves were given a double-bead front edge detail and are made adjustable using a saw-tooth system, rather than traditional shelf pins.
